Notice To My Readers

A couple of months ago I wrote that my hiatus from blogging would be resumed, but I am sorry to say that did not happen.

For the time being, my decision regarding this blog will be that during times of crisis and G-d forbid, war, I will resume the live blogging..that is daily or hourly updating.

At present there will not be a regular blog posting, however, from time to time I will bring an update or comment.

My reasons for this retreat are varied, including taking up residence for a while in one of many Israeli rabbit holes......according to a friend - the safest place to be when Israeli politics become too mishugana (crazy)

I realize I will lose some of my regular readers and for that I apologize. I appreciate your loyalty til now. Please check the other blog site: www.fromthehillsofjerusalem.blogspot.com

And truthfully, I will come out of the rabbit hole from time to time.....if you subscribe to this blog and check your subscribe list, any updates will show up there.

Thanks & L'hitraot

Destruction of Federman Farm

Last night, in the middle of the night, at 1 am to be exact, 2 Jewish families in Kiryat Arba were awakened by phone calls from friends telling them that Israeli Yassam policemen were on their way to their houses. Before the owners could even respond to the calls, one family (with 4 children) had a knock at the door and were told they had 3 minutes to leave before the house was destroyed, the other family (9 children) had no warning as 100 or more black uniformed policemen broke down all the doors and smashed the windows, climbing into the house and tearing small children, terrified and screaming from their beds.

This is what the Israeli government has come to in it's frenzied attempts to appease the world's demands that Jews cease our existence in Eretz Yisrael.

The issue is settling the Land - specifically at this point, in Judea and Samaria. The two homes in questions were built on a tract of land in Kiryat Arba, an entirely Jewish town. The Federman Farm, as it is called, has been there for over 10 years, and the Federmans have right of possession of the land. They have lived on the property for 2-1/2 years and legal proceedings were in process, but the government never issued the Federman's a building permit.

Many people in Judea and Samaria - both Jews and arabs - build homes on land without permits because the government drags its' feet for years in issuing the permits. When the government needs to "make a statement" against Jewish ownership and settlment of our Land, they attack and destroy the Jewish homes and caravans - calling them "illegal outposts". Very rarely is anything ever done to touch the hundreds and hundreds of "illegal arab outposts", as that would be politically incorrect and send the wrong message. It is Jews who are evacuated.

The devastation to the home and the family was horrendous. Because the Federman's knew nothing of the impending attack, the children assumed they were in the midst of a terror attack; the children were beaten and one girl's fingers broken. The yassamniks tore a year old infant from the mother's arms and separated her (the mother) from her babies.

More on this as it develops.........
